Red Lodge

Red Lodge sits at the southern gateway to the Beartooth Mountains and Yellowstone’s northeast corner. As a key community for the Bear Smart Beartooth coalition, Red Lodge is seeing increased grizzly presence and conflict risk — a growing landscape where bear awareness work matters more every year.

What we do in Red Lodge:

Partnership with Bear Smart Beartooth on community outreach and conflict reduction

Bear-resistant infrastructure support for residents and businesses

Electric fence loans for fruit trees, chicken coops, and small livestock

Bear spray rentals and giveaways

Community bear safety education in coordination with Carbon County partners
